Ian Hunt, Managing Director
Ian joined Fibre Technologies in 2000 as an account manager and has progressed through the ranks of sales manager and sales director to managing director in 2008, following a management buyout of the company. His focus is on maintaining a strong management structure and good quality customer and partner relationships, by developing improved support services and growing specialist sales teams. Prior to working at Fibre Technologies, Ian held roles at Westell, Telspec, and GEC Avionics. He is married with four children and enjoys motor sport and flying model aircraft in his spare time.
Jeff McKeown, Sales Director
As sales director, Jeff is responsible for growing the sales and distribution teams and ensuring customers' expectations are met and exceeded. He is also tasked with extending the reach of market sectors in which the company currently operates and ensuring a complete solution for customers by continually reviewing the product range, support services and after sales care. He has a wealth of experience in the high-tech industry managing EMEA-wide sales and marketing programmes at companies including Intel, Digital Semiconductor (DEC), LSI Logic, Texas Instruments, Hybritek, and British Aerospace. Personal interests include music, film and computer technology. Jeff is married and has three children.
David Taylor, Technical Sales Manager
David has been at Fibre Technologies since 2002 and is responsible for all technical sales and support enquiries, overseeing installations and dealing directly with customers. In addition, he is tasked with developing new partner relationships and customer support services. David has a wealth of experience in the fibre optics market, having previously worked at Cisco before joining Fibre Technologies. Outside of work, David enjoys motorcycling, walking and outdoor pursuits. He is married with two children.
Darrell Simmons, Sales Manager
Darrell joined Fibre Technologies in 2008 and manages the internal sales team. In this role, he is tasked with generating business leads and developing new customer offerings and value added services. Prior to joining Fibre Technologies. Darrell was in international sales at Metrodata. He is married, with two children and has a passion for motorbikes and football.
Michael Cock, Financial Director
Michael is responsible for setting Fibre Technologies growth strategy, ensuring it remains competitive and achieves continued expansion and success. This involves overseeing investor relations and looking after the financial well-being of the company. Prior to joining Fibre Technologies in 2005, Michael worked in the publishing industry. His lifelong ambition is to visit 100 countries, and he also enjoys outdoor activities including hill walking.
