Fibre Technologies continues growth strategy with a new appointment

Fibre Technologies has appointed Mike Cock as finance manager, as part of an aggressive drive to expand the company into new areas and build on its market-leading position in the fibre optic communications sector.

Mike Cock replaces Frances Cann, who left the company earlier this year, and will be responsible for setting the company's growth strategy, ensuring it remains competitive and achieves continued expansion and success.

Mike previously worked in the publishing industry but found his career options limited in a saturated market. He took the decision to move to Fibre Technologies as he wanted to work in an industry with more opportunities and better prospects, for a company he could grow with and make a real difference to.

Commenting on the appointments, Phillip Coombes, managing director of Fibre Technologies, said: "This new appointment will enable us to build on a strong foundation and further enhance our team.
