FTL, The Value's Added Free. The Optical components range
include Attenuator, Couplers, Splitters, Pasive optical multiplexers
and much more. Their products are manufactured to the highest Quality
and latest technologies. Their many years of experience allow them
to give you the true benefits and trade-offs when choosing these
vital parts to infrastructure.
Cost is not always the best guide, when purchasing optical components.
For example: Attenuators, typically low cost version may be just
air gap and have lower stability whereas higher cost pure optical
lens'd attenuators offer stability and greater attenuation accuracy

Fibre
Optic Attenuators
Build out or Inline
Air gapped or Optical
Our fibre optica attenuators are available as In-line (Build out)
or as Attenuator patch cords with specific losses, variable or Fixed
values. The In-line attenuators are produced by two methods Air gap
(In expensive) or Optically lens offering the highest stable performance
and accurate attenuation values. Attenuator values typically 1, 3,
5, 10, and 20dB. |

Mode Conditioning
Patch Cords
IEEE-802.3z (Gigabit Ethernet)
Compliant
'Masks' Differential Mode Delay
(DMD) effects
Correct offset always maintained
Mode Conditioning Patch Cord consists of a cable assembly with an
offset single mode fibre to multi mode fibre connection point and
duplex SC connectors on each end. These patch cords optimise the single
mode launch nature of transceiver modules used for Gigabit Ethernet
that allow operation over both single mode and multi mode fibres. |

Hybrid
Adapters
Hybrid adaption allows users to interconnect differing connector types
with a simple patch cords connection. They offer a low cost method
of inter connecting existing equipment with new types with perhaps
a more up to date or differing connectors. Hybrid adaption include
most industry standards and for both Multmode and Singlemode applications

SFP Plugables
Pluggable interfaces are small, hot-swappable, managed port interface
modules that provide physical layer (copper or fibre) signaling for
data, voice, storage and video transport networks. This capability
allows optical transceivers of various distances (up to 80km for example)
to be plugged into a switch-card slot without changing the card.
Copper to Fibre: interfaces allow
copper-to-fibre media conversion
Fibre repeater: 2 single-mode
SFPs, allows distance extension
WDM: Multimode SFP to WDM SFP
allows WDM operation |
