E-1500
CSU/DSU SERIES
The Loop-E 1500 CSU/DSU series provides an economic solution
to E1 network access cost, when only a partial of 31 DS0 channels
is needed. Clear channel (32 DS0 channels) is also available.
The products support HDB3 (High Density Bipolar 3) coding and
provide continuous error checking, performance polling, and
in-service diagnostics. CPE interface include E1 CSU, serial
DTE, Co-directional DTE, and router. With DTE port operating
from 56 Kbps to 2048 Kbps, Loop-E 1500 CSU/DSU allows users
to interconnect LANs and WANs, CAD and CAM, video conference,
mainframe hosts etc. The router interface allows for LAN to
WAN connection directly. |

V4100
Universal Multi-service Access Platform
Designed for STM1 and DS3 networks, V4100 provides 504 Mbps
cross-connect backplance capacity. Full STM1, OC-3 access, and
OC-3 Add-drop. V4100 has full DS0 cross-connect built inside.
The A-Mu conversion is also supported. The OC3/STM-1 port may
be connected to OC3/STM-1 networks or to Loop-V 4200-28 with
OC3/STM-1 port. Three DS3 ports can be connected to DS3 networks
or Loop-V 4200-28 with DS3 port. Local control and diagnostics
are supported via VT100 terminal connected to the console port,
also Ethernet, Telnet, and SNMP is supported for control and
diagnoses from remote locations. |

& 28 Multi-Service Access Platform
The Loop-V4200-28 IMAP series is available in two kinds of shelf:
Loop-V 4200-28, which is ANSI standard with connectors front
and back, and Loop-V 4200-28ET, which is ETSI standard with
all connectors access via the front. The Loop-V 4200-28 offers
3 high and 28 low speed slots. He V4200-28ET supports STM1 1+1
protection function, 1:6 T1/E1 interface card protection or
1:6 line protection function. The system can be configured as
an:
• OC3 (STM1/STS3) access device, T1/E1 CSU/DSU
with drop/insert & voice
• E1 to T1 converter (N x64)
•
Digital cross-connect system (DACS)
• CSU/DSU, data from V.35
or X.21 port occupies a fraction of an E1/T1 port
• E1/T1 converter,
A to Mu law coding and signaling handled. |

V4200
IMAP OC3/STM1 plug-in card
The OC3/STM1 plug-in card provides OC3/STM1 access for the V4200-28.
1 to 1 protection is obtained when two cards are used. V4200-28
IMAP provides access for 1/3 of the OC3 capacity, so three 4200-28
systems will provide full OC3 access. Multicolor LEDs provide
status indication for power/standby, LOS, LOF and test. Internal
firmware, stored in flash memory, allows firmware to be downloaded.
The Loop-V 4200 series offers local control and diagnostics
via VT-100 terminal and also supports Ethernet, Telnet, and
SNMP. |
