The new Optical multiplexers from PanDatel allow numerous optical signals to be bundled by optical multiplexers and then transmitted to a remote unit via a single optical fibre pair. At the remote site, data will be re-formatted to the original version by a de-multiplexer. This methodology provides a simultaneous transmission of a number of diverse applications via one optical fibre (without this solution, typically four or more lines would be used). Low speed circuit may be multiplexer into higher speed channels or into individual wavelengths depending on the requirements, a number of separate multplexing solutions have been developed accordingly. |
