PL-10 & 20 are wellsuited for small-scale business continuity applications at the customer premises. They transport FC service over hundreds of kilometers-with no packet loss.
PL-100
PL-100, a multi-client storage and GbE transport system for the Metro access, transports 12 ports of FC/GbE/ESCON into an OC-48/STM-16 GFP/VCAT trunk. PL- 100 combines 12 ports of FC, ESCON, and GbE in various combinations-all in one compact pizza box. PL-100 is the ideal solution for medium scale business continuity applications at the customer premises. It transports FC/ESCON/GbE services over hundreds of kilometers-with no packet loss.
PL-100-Opto
PL-100-Opto, a carrier class Customer Located Equipment (CLE) DWDM/CWDM multiplexer, can multiplex up to 4 wavelengths. Integrated multi-purpose transponders can transport any type of service in a transparent manner. Transponders and embedded Amplifiers extend the reach to hundreds of Kilometers. Combination of PL-100 and PL-100-Opto are used for storage and data applications over DWDM/CWDM. All optical interfaces are pluggable and can be used with variety of third-party core Metro DWDM/CWDM equipment.
